Wine Therapy: An Allied to Health, Youth and Beauty

Different treatments and modern wine –not only a drink for taste and accompaniment moments, but also a beverage blessed with beneficial properties for health and aging-delaying effects- make up this specialty derived from wine.
It is a treatment that uses different types of grapes, wines, musts or oils derived from grapes.
The so-called “wine therapy” can be used to reduce the effects of natural aging, varicose veins, skin wrinkling, and so on. The main vines used are Sauvignon, cabernet or merlot, among others. The antioxidant components of wine are phenolic acids, cinnamic acids, stilbenes, fla-vonoides, condensed tannins.
Most of these components come from the grapes and fermentation processes. The antioxidant properties of wine, that is anti-free radicals, are due to the polyphones it contains. Free radicals are responsible for aging and death of cells in our body.
At skin level, that is visible through wrinkles, spots, lack of tone, etc. Apparently, wine therapy is greatly improving the quality acts of the skin and it also acts as blood vessel dilatators, a reason why its action is construed as the perfect ally to heart and arteries. Properties would also back up the production of collagen, which increases the firmness of skin, let alone an array of anti-inflammatory, soothing, relaxing, detoxifying properties that would also like to snuff out the effects of long sun exposure, stress, allergic conditions, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, and so on.
Like all substances that act to fight back free radicals, they have anticancer properties. They are highly recommended as wine baths combined with thermal waters, for example, to help the body to relax and hydrate, as well as to tone the skin. Apparently, the polyphenol content in black grape skins helps these actions at skin.
Grape seeds are rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are very beneficial to health, as we’ve seen in previous summaries. Wine therapy would then be a new method that uses different types of grapes, wines, oils, or substances related to grapes aimed at improving healthy conditions and aesthetics.
